Here are a few random observations from the 9 weeks we spent in New York City in the fall of 2025. There is no place quite like this city anywhere in the world - whether you love it or hate it. We squarely fall in the former camp!

In our conversations with family, friends as well as strangers, we often hear where they stand on doing what we are doing, i.e. living an entirely nomadic life. Here is a (pseudo-)statistical breakdown.
